RWF PPV – Fall Brawl 1st Promotional Role-play
Nathan had just arrived at the RWF Headquarters and already, something happened. Well, if you could count meeting the “president” of the RWF “something” then that would probably count. After that encounter, we find the new superstar inside a locker room.
As he looked around, he couldn’t help but whistle in appreciation at the facilities. “Will you look at that...? A locker room all to myself. Could it be because there is only a few of us at the moment here in RWF? Well, whatever it is, I’m going to make the most of it!” were the thoughts that ran in Nathan’s mind as he placed his duffle bag on the floor.
As he looked around, he noticed that most, if not all, of the equipment were brand new. A testament to the care and importance the company is willing to shell-out for its superstars. Frankly, Nathan’s respect for the company steadily grew as the minutes passes.
He was however was interrupted from his musings by a knock on the door. “Come in! It’s open and I solemnly swear I’m decent!” Nathan uttered with a mischievous glint in his eyes. The door opened and revealed a stunning red-head woman in a black attire. It gave Nathan a bit of pause which seemed to have been noticed by the woman indicated by the grin on her pretty face. The woman then continued to stride towards Nathan and spoke. “Hello! Would you be like, Nathan Harris by any chance?” came the cute voice of the woman.
“Well, even if I was not, I’d probably say I am. Heck, I’d even say I was the President of the United States if that was who you were looking for.” Nathan replied with a grin of his own with confidence that seeped on his tone.
The woman giggled at this which only made the grin on Nathan’s face widen. “But yeah, I’m Nathan. And you would be… No, let me guess, you are Cameron Miller, Backstage Correspondent for RWF.”
“Oh?” the now revealed Cameron uttered with a raised eyebrow, her grin never left her face. “I see you did your homework.”
Nathan nodded at this and shifted in a more casual approach and stance. “Yep. Had to know who my employers are.” Cameron nodded at this and spoke once more. “Well, I am here to inform you that your debut has been in the talks… It would be on like… Well not really on… Just a bit around like... I mean it could be on the next Pay-Per-View which is the Fall Brawl. I think…”
Surprised could be easily read on Nathan’s face at this news. On the Pay-Per-View already? He thought he’d be on a couple of matches first but before then. In perspective however, there were already two airings of Saturday Night Crackdown and it is almost the end of the month. A Pay-Per-View wouldn’t be that far-fetched. It promotes sales and garners the attention of the masses.
“Now that’s… That’s great…! I mean… Great!” Nathan replied with excitement. He could feel it or dare he say "see" it now. His chance has come and he would make the best out of it.
Cameron smiled at this. “Well yeah! Anyhow, I was just here to deliver the message. I suppose I will like see yah around.” she said and with a wave turned around and exited Nathan’s locker room. A sway on her hips noticeable with had Nathan’s eyes glued at. Cameron gave Nathan a look back and noticed this which earned Nathan a grin and a wink. Nathan grinned at this and was about to unpack his things when his phone let off tune that signified he had just received a text message.
“[Nathan Harris, you are scheduled to compete for The Fall Brawl in a non-titled match Pre-Show match against Hardcore Comley. Should you have any questions please direct it to one of the show staff. This is an automated message. Do not reply –RWF Admin]”
Nathan smiled at this. His eyes alit with determination. “Well, that makes it official I suppose. Guess it’s time to bring in the big guns.”
And with that, Nathan Harris unloaded his things and prepared for his debut and looked forward to the future that is his career at RWF.
