The camera snaps to life and fades into view to a steel door with a plaque on the outside labeled "The Feared". The cameraman that stood outside, just out of view of the camera was pacing nervously. Despite having done this before, he was still very intimidated around the devastating tag team and it didn't make things any better when he heard the sound of a horrific robotic laughter (Urgot from League of Legends) from inside the door coming from Scream. He then swallowed the lump in his throat and put his hand up to knock on the door only to have it open, Slash's face appearing in the slightly cracked doorway.
Slash: "I figured it was only a matter of time till you were back on our trail."
The man nodded, putting on a nervous smile.
Interviewer: "I j-just wanted to get a few comments on your tag team win at Fall Brawl. If that's okay."
Slash stood there eyeing the man for a moment and then threw the door open and walked back into the locker room, turning his head to say.
Slash: "Alright then, come in."
The interviewer waits a second then after a deep exhale, he walks in through the door followed closely by his cameraman. Scream is sitting at the back wall with his chair facing toward the wall, his mask in his lap and a rag in the other hand, possibly cleaning or polishing the mask. Slash moves over and takes a seat in one of the wooden chairs at their dining table and turns his head toward the interviewer.
Slash: "Well, go on then."
The interviewer nods and fumbles for the notepad in his coat pocket as he speaks.
Interviewer: "Right. Umm... First question is for Scream.. Uhh... Some superstars and staff feel like your steel plated mask gives you an unfair advantage... What do you have to s-"
The interviewer stops as Scream's arms tense up, and the movement of his hands washing the mask is paused. Scream then slowly gets to his feet, but doesn't turn around.
Scream: "Do you feel it gives me an unfair advantage?"
The interviewer shakes his head. And starts to speak but is cut off by Scream.
Scream: "Anyone that does feel this way can come talk it up with me. If they can't handle a little metal, then they have no business being here."
The interviewer starts to defend himself again, but stops and just nods in agreement and scribbles something down in his pad as he continues.
Interviewer: "The Feared have gone 2 and 0 in tag team matches, obviously showing they are a dominant force here in RWF. However, this next Crackdown you will be both separate in singles matches. Any input you'd like to add on that note?"
Slash: "There isn't much to say. They can't find us a challenge in the tag team division so they split us up. It's not something we haven't seen before. Every new company wants to keep things on edge, and if the same people are winning week after week, that can't happen. So you divide and conquer."
The interviewer nods along with what Slash says as he continues to write in his pad and then asks again without even looking up.
Interviewer: "And I take it you aren't worried about your opponents?"
There is a long pause of silence in the air that causes the interviewer to look up from his pad. He first looks at Slash and then to Scream and back again. Then, both of the men begin to laugh. The interviewer gets nervous and unknowing of what to do he starts laughing with them, only to have them both stop abruptly and he quickly straightens himself up and again swallows the lump in his throat.
Slash: "There isn't a single man on this roster who's spine we have not sent shivers down. There isn't a talent in the RWF that doesn't have a knot in there throat when looking us eye to eye. And there is an opponent in that ring, that can worry us. We are the Feared, not the fearful."
Scream then lifts his mask up and fastens it into place, hooking in the various tubing and closing latches to hold it In place then turns around to face the interviewer.
Scream: "And we've already beaten both of these men."
Slash nods in agreement and the interviewer writes in his pad for a few moments and then looks up once he had finished.
Interviewer: "Very true. Very, very true. Umm... any parting words you have for your up-and-coming opponents, before I go?"
Scream and Slash both exchange a quick look and then Slash nods as he turns back to the interviewer and cameraman.
Slash: "Dante Pritchard. Hm. With him it's simple, really. He does not wrestle with determination nor ambition. He goes out to inflict pain, and no matter how much he succeed with that goal, he will always come out a loser."
Slash then gets up from the chair, staying in front of it but now in a standing position as if he is a teacher imparting wisdom upon his students.
Slash: "Until he realizes this, he will forever be on a level lower than us. A level below the greats and elites. Although unorthodox, he becomes predictable. Instead of overwhelming strength and aggression it becomes a cheap shot here and a lucky finisher there. Anyone can have an advantage when the opponent's back is turned. But, when face-to-face. No, Man-to-Man... He does not stand a chance in the slightest."
The interviewer then finishes up writing the last of what he needed and then turns to Scream and opens his mouth to ask, but Scream cuts him off and speaks anyway.
Scream: "William is old news. He has been beaten once and it will happen again. He can write my name down and cross it out as many times as he wants."
Scream then steps forward a couple steps so that he's only a couple feet away from the camera and in an even lower growl of a voice he says...
Scream: "But, when it comes down to it. I'm the predator and you're my prey."
The camera then fades out as his horrific laughter slips out from behind that mask once again, sending chills and an unsettling feeling over everyone watching.
