Saturday Night Crackdown 2nd Promotional Roleplay Start
The RWF Arena buzzed with activity as the third iteration of Saturday Night Crackdown prepares to take-off. The seats were filled with excited fans with so much anticipation that came from the success of the last Pay-Per-View, Fall Brawl.
Without warning, fireworks suddenly exploded all-around the arena and signaled the start of the much awaited show. The roars of the crowd erupted as banners and streamers alike were waved in frenzied manners.
At the announcer’s table, Steve Richardson prepares himself for another exiting show. He could almost feel the palpable excitement in the air and he couldn’t help but smile. This was truly remarkable in its own right with RWF only having have aired a total of four shows. He tilted his hat and fixed his headset as he prepares to open up Saturday Night Crackdown. “Good evening ladies and gentle and welcome to another edition of Saturday Night Crackdown coming fresh from The Fall Brawl last week. That pay-per-view has set the standards and defined the moment in which RWF showed the world what it was like to experience pure excitement!” Steve Richardson opened.
With but a small pause to catch a bit of his breath, he once more continued to speak. “We have witnessed the dawning of a new era as the two prestigious titles have been claimed by two deserving superstars. Xavier Serikaz claimed the Television Championship while the World Heavyweight Championship was claimed by Alexander The Great. The namesake not misplaced.”
“And tonight won’t be any different! This is Saturday Night Crackdown!” he finished with passion.
The PA system suddenly blared to life as the theme “My Time is Now” played on the titantron. The crowd were immediately once again on their feet. They knew that theme by now and they welcomed it.
And as expected, Nathan Harris appeared on the top ramp and surveyed the area. Nathan couldn’t help but smile as the cheers for his name resounded and banners were waved. He gave them a salute, a courtesy given to convey his respect to the fans. “And here comes Nathan Harris! Boy did this newcomer showed that he earned his spot at The Fall Brawl and silenced all the critics. Who would not be? He went up against a ‘monster’ that was Hardkore Comley and still came out on top!” Steve commentated from the announcer’s table as Nathan struts towards the ring.
“Confidence, Determination, and Heart are all but one side to this individual. And we hope see more of that in the times to come.” Steve Richardson followed up.
Nathan Harris then enters the ring and walked to the four corners of it. At each post, he climbed up to the second rope and pointed at the crowed as he gestured his thanks for their support. The fans having seen this erupted to cheers once more while flashes from cameras covered the stands. Nathan was filled with elation and gratefulness at this. “This is feeling! This is great!” were the thoughts that ran through his mind.
With his business on the ropes done for now, Nathan Harris asked for a microphone which was provided by one of the RWF Staff on stand-by. He was about to speak when the cheers resounded once more. A grateful smile graced his facial features at this and he raised his fists to acknowledge the fans.
“What a reception! Nathan Harris is feeding excitement to crowd! What an opening to Saturday Night Crackdown!” came from the commentator’s table.
The cheers slowly died down as Nathan Harris brought the microphone near his lips. “First and foremost, I want to thank… You…” he spoke as he pointed at the eastern side of the arena. He then turned around and point to the western side of the same arena. “And you!”Nathan Harris then continued to point as he moved in a clockwise motion that swept through the arena. “And all of you! For making my debut match in the last Pay-Per-View, The Fall Brawl, a huge success!” he finished as he gave a bow to the crowd.“I’ll be honest. I know I can win that match. I know I am prepared. But you got to admit, Comley was a tough client. Every time pain was inflicted, he grew more and more aroused or something. But seriously, it was one heck of a beatdown. I am just glad, I ain’t become a let-down.”“So to you Comley I’ll buy yah a beer. For you that match, I needed to shift to top-gear. Anytime you rustin, don’t be worryin. Just remember that fateful night, when I gave yah a beatin.”The fans cheers resounded once more all-around the arena at the statement of Nathan Harris. Nathan’s smile widened at this and placed his hat back on his head. “But enough about that. Tonight you are all in for a treat. Because we have the RWF World Heavyweight Champion, the self-proclaimed ‘Great’, up against yours truly someone who is just livin straight.”Cheers echoed once more at that declaration but Nathan Harris calmed them down as he continued to speak. “Oh I’ve seen the vids. He ain’t a pushover. With an ego like that? You’ll need a bulldozer. You said I talk too much, well at least I have the fans to talk to. You on the other hand, talks to yourself like a CooCoo.”Nathan then removed his hat and smiled. He then proceeded to walk around the ring and continued to speak. “When you speak about your prowess, oh heck I couldn’t disagree. That stick is so far up your ass, it comes out of your chin like a goatee. I mean you even had a scribe to transcribe you a piece jibe. Heck I’ll top that one on my youtube channel, just hit subscribe! I mean you even have the same name of someone from history, so I guess you're an 'old-man' who was born in the twenty-first century! You're name is even a mouth-full, and I am even doubtful, so I suppose I shall dub thee 'Old-man-young', now that doesn't sound too awful.”The fans chuckled at this and that made Nathan smile. He like that they could appreciate his words even though he sometimes laid it all too thick. “And what’s this I heard you hate my ‘rhymin’? That’s just repressed childhood 'old-man' so have your scribe give you some lovin’.” he uttered with a fake incredulous expression that soon morphed into a mischievous grin.Laughter erupted that soon turned to cheers. Nathan bowed at the crowd much to their delight. “'Old-man-young', I think you are out of time. The era of legends are long passed while you were snorin. The Starlight Express already left and that was since nineteen-ninetin’. Legends born from hard work and pedigree I could agree with. Your claims on the other hand left so much room, to disagree with.”Nathan then pause on the center of the ring. His mischievous demure replaced by a serious aura. The fans could feel it. They knew this was different. All at once silence reigned the arena. “You asked me if I am really ready to take on a man who cuts down the best of the best for a living? 'Old-man-young' you have no idea what you are saying. So I suppose I’ll educate you once we start playing…” Nathan delivered with such seriousness that it was like a hot knife that cut through butter.“Tonight in this very ring I will give you somethin. A lesson in humility now ain’t that rockin!”The cheers resounded once more at the declaration and Nathan Harris reverted back to that ever annoying smile of his that both excites the crowd and irritates the locker room. “When it all comes down to it you’ll see if I am really not worthy. You’ll realize that hindsight is indeed, really twenty-twenty.”And with that final declaration of challenge, the PA system blared once more with Nathan Harris theme as the fans roared with cheers. Nathan for his part acknowledge them all as he walked to one of the ring posts and up the second rope. Hands raised while determination lined his being. At the commentator’s table, Steve Richardson couldn’t help but smile. “And there you have it folks. The World Heavyweight Champion, Alexander The Great versus Nathan Harris live! Tonight!”
