Mimic steps into the main lobby, out of the elevator and is about to head down the lobby toward his locker room when Cameron Miller, RWF's backstage correspondent flags him down. He turns revealing the red puzzle piece shaped designs on the front of his black mask. He also has black leather arm bands lining from just below the shoulder and placed up and down his arm all the way to the wrist. He is also wearing red pants with black puzzle piece designs up and down the pant legs, which are tucked into his black boots, red lining the lacing of the boot. "Mr. Mimic? Mr. Mimic, could I have a moment of your time?"
She asks him with a polite tone and a friendly grin.
"Ms. Miller? Ms. Miller, could I have a moment of your time?"
He says a in the same polite manner and she gets a confused look on her face. After a few seconds of waiting for him to elaborate she speaks up again, remaining polite.
"I-I'm sorry. I'm a bit confused, I-"
He interrupts her mid sentence, with humor in his voice as he does so.
"In general, or just in this moment?"
She again gives him a confused look and he let's out a chuckle waving his hand as if to say "nevermind" and then continues with a polite voice.
"It was only a joke madame, continue please."
She nods, with a confused look still on her face and just continues, putting the microphone to her lips.
"A lot of us here at RWF were wondering if you think your recent injuries are going to effect your in-ring skill or your place in the wrestling business all together. Do you personally think it's going to cause problems?"
As she finishes, she uses her free hand to pull her hair back over her ear and puts on a friendly smile. She starts to put her microphone over to Mimic, but he puts his hand up to stop her then uses his other hand, pretending he has a microphone of his own and puts it at the mouth level of his mask, and then adjusts his arms, legs, body and head so that he is holding the exact position she was standing in when she asked the question, but she doesn't seem to notice as she gives him a slight chuckle at his "pretend microphone".
"I've been asked this many a times, Cameron. And my answer is always the same, I have no memory of the injury ever happening. It has been wiped from my mind. Therefore, I see now reason to have it be a hindrance. If it never happened to me, then no it will not effect my in-ring capabilities."
As he finishes he then pretends to pull his hair back over his ear and puts his "microphone" toward her and stops just as she had done when she finished her question. She again just gets a confused look, not understanding what is going on, the camera begins bouncing slightly as this happens and muffled laughter can be heard as the cameraman gets it. She then looks at him for a second and then just shakes it off and continues.
"I was also wondering if you're worried about your opponent HardKore Comley? Even after a loss he still manages to leave Nathan Harris broken in the ring. He laughed while locked into the STF, one of Harris's signature finishing moves. And coming off an injury he looks to be just about the worst possible opponent for you to be pitted against."
She then lowers her microphone to her side, fixing her hair again with her other hand as she awaits his response. He looks at her for a couple seconds then shakes his head and speaks, like she did before she asked her question.
"Though I see your reasoning for worry, my confidence remains my dear. They tell me that before this injury I was top prospect, untouched in potential and had wrestling blood flowing through my veins. Although the memories are gone, that same blood is still flowing."
Mimic squats down in a low hunched over position hobbles around, while speaking in a very throaty, eerie voice.
"I've heard some call him a monster, and as you see I too can be a monster!"
He then puts his hand down to his sides and broadens his shoulders and chest as much as he can, standing up on his tippy toes and talks slowly and as deep as his voice will allow.
"He's also been called a giant, and once again I too can be a giant. Fee Fie Foe Fumb!"
Cameron and her camerman both let out a short laugh as he once again adjusts his position so that now he stands tall and puts both hands up on either side of his head, extending his index fingers. With his hands now in a position to make them look like horns he talks in a harsh raspy voice.
"Or his self proclaimed title of Demon, I can also be one of those!"
He then relaxes back to his normal position and drops his arms to his side as he slightly tilts his head and looks into the camera and with a calm and collective voice he speaks.
"You see Comley, it doesn't matter what people say you are. It doesn't matter what you proclaim. It doesn't matter what advantages you think you might have. I can copy them all. I can adjust and imitate. And I can manipulate and strengthen them. Whatever you can do, I can do better."
He then strikes a pose that looks like he's about to do tae kwon do.
"For I am the ultimate counter machine!"
He then stands straight up with good posture and puts his palms together in front of him and bows as if he is a contestant in a karate tournament.
"I am the king of copycat!"
He then returns to his normal, default position.
"I'm Mimic, and I believe it is you who the dead end is upon."
He then puts his arms straight out to the sides and twirls them twice before bowing forward, Cameron and the camera start applauding and the camera fades to black ending the scene.
