Saturday Night Crackdown # 4 2nd Promotional Roleplay Start
The RWF Arena was jam-packed with fans as it opens in The Yum Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Saturday Night Crackdown opens up its fourth iteration and the crowd seemed to have significantly grown. At the commentator’s table, Steve Richardson and Frank Robert addressed each other. “What a line-up we have for tonight Frank.”
“Indeed we have Steve.”
“Tonight is the fourth Saturday Night Crackdown and things have sure heated up since the past week.” Steve followed thru.
Frank Robert nodded at this and commented. “Indeed it has Steve and we all saw talents showcased from each and every angle and I got to say, it is great to be in this show.”
“Indeed it is Frank. And tonight promises to be no different. Tonight we would have our first ever Woman’s Singles action right there in that very ring.”
“That is true Steve. Last week, Veronica Taylor, asked for a little bit of leeway from the Chairman Chris Mackinson and he turned her down.”
“Asked is a subjective word Frank. I believe the proper term would be seduced.” Steve commented.
Frank rolled his eyes at Steve but before he could reply, “My Time is Now” blared from the P.A. system. The crowd were immediately on their feet at this and soon enough Nathan Harris appeared from the backstage and was now onto the top ramp.
“And here comes Nathan Harris, Frank. And will you look at him, he seems different somehow…”
“It would appear so Steve but I can’t blame him.”
“Blame him for what?”
“Well he lost to the RWF World Heavyweight Champion there Steve. He ‘might’… And I can’t help but stress this. He ‘might’ have believed that he could win against Alex The Great in his little dream world. It was a good thing Alex woke him up.”
“I would have to disagree with you on that Frank. It looked to me that he could have won. He had the heart, the determination, and the will. I believe it all boils down to the experience. Given time this guy would be a force to reckon with!”
“You know Steve, sometimes I wonder if we are looking at the same thing…”
Nathan Harris then slid under the lower rope and entered the ring. From there, he walked to each post and acknowledged the crowd much to their cheers. This brought a smile to Nathan’s face. With that over, Nathan Harris called for a microphone which was handed to him immediately. “Now now, let’s not go into the pleasantries and right to the point.”
The crowd cheered at this.
“Last week, I had my ass hand to me. I won’t sugar-coat it. It was all on me. Last week, I came into this very ring at an all-time-high.”
Nathan Harris then paced a few times before he spoke once more. “Well, I was feeling confident of myself when I won in the Fall Brawl against the monster that was Hardkore Comley. And then came the match with Old-Man-Young Alex. I knew I could win. To prove my worth.”
He paused for a second and took a breath. “But I forgot one crucial thing…”
“I forgot that Old-Man-Young was a champion for a reason. I forgot that he got there for a reason. Long story short, I underestimated him. It took a one-sided beating but I suppose that could get a point across. I screwed up.”
Nathan Harris then looked at the fans sighed. “Drunk and high from my win at the first ever Pay-Per-View of RWF, I forgot the main reason that I do this. I forgot about you…” he said as he pointed at all the fans.
“And for that I apologize.”
At the announcer table Steve nodded. “Well that certainly takes guts to admit.”
Frank on the other hand had a different opinion. “He is just sucking up to the fans!”
Back in the ring, Nathan Harris walked around the ring a few times before he addressed the fans once more. “But I beg of you for one more chance. Tonight in this very ring. Tonight I would prove that I am worthy. Of your cheers and being in this business. Tonight, I will face off against Mimic. Cool dude with a hurricane of a mood…”
“Here we go! Here is the Nathan Harris that we all know and love!” Steve commented from the announcer’s table.
“Yeah! His boring rhyming! Get that! Even I can get that!” Frank commented proudly which earned him a raised eyebrow from Steve.
In the ring Nathan Harris continued on. “He could copy any move but it ain’t stealin. Just look at that mask that he keeps on wearin. Even styles and personalities now that’s a big deal! We just to find out if it measures up with the real deal! Doubt of his skills, I have none. So I’ll just have to console him when I have won.”
The arena erupted with cheers. Some laughed, while other started to chant his name. Nathan. Nathan. Nathan. Nathan.
“And of course we cannot forget William. Crazed and deranged that one I’ll say. Like stepin into a land mine that could blow off at any time. Oh I watched the vids and it sure was nasty. You have to give props to the guy for bein ansty. A few screw loose, that aint sometin to snooze at. Maybe an Attitude Adjustment here will fix that! Up that with a free bruise right of the bat! He’d look like that joker dude we could all laugh at!”
Laughter echoed from the fans followed by cheers. Nathan Harris grinned at this and marshaled on.
“Tonight here at Louisville, Kentucky. In a triple-threat match yours truly with go up against these two men, one with the theatrics and the deranged other, in a triple threat match. Do determine who would face the currently reigning RWF Television Champion. But we ain’t talkin bout him since he is not part of this dimension. Tonight, I shall return the favor that you all have invested in me. Those cheers of yours I will answer.”
Nathan then faced the camera with seriousness etched on his face. “Tonight, my time is now…”
And with that cheers once more erupted at Nathan Harris’ theme blared on the PA. Back at the announcer’s table, Steve and Frank couldn’t help but comment. “Bold words from the Nathan Harris.” Steve started only to cut-off by Frank.
“That’s just it Steve! Words! Words don’t mean dung if you can’t deliver.”
“That may be true Frank but whatever happens it would be a great match! Nathan Harris, Mimic, and William Frost! Tonight!”
