RWF PPV – Insurrection 2nd Promotional Role-play Start “So Nathan, what are your thoughts with your match against this Xavier character?” –Jimmy FallonWe find Nathan Harris as a guest for the show “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”. It was sudden thing but since it was what the company directed, then off Nathan goes. Besides, he thought that with a talk show like that, more exposure for him as well as more exposure for RWF. Still, he has no idea how the show will pan-out. No scripts, none at all. Well, he could very much do things on the fly but this gig may very well be pushing it.
From behind the curtains, Nathan Harris took a deep breath as he awaits his queue.
“And without further ado, RWF’s rising star, Mr. Nathan Harris!” Jimmy Fallon opened up.
Nathan Harris’ theme played on the background and this was what he was waiting for. With another deep breath, Nathan Harris swiped the curtains and revealed himself. Applause and cheers were his welcome as he walked toward Jimmy and shook his hands. They both gave their pleasantries before they proceeded to take their respective seats.
Jimmy grinned and addressed Nathan Harris. “Welcome to the show, Nathan! Should I call you Nate or Tan?”
“Well, I suppose you can call me Nate seeing as tan is currently not my skin tone for the night.” was Nathan’s witty reply that elicited laughter from the audiences. Jimmy laughed at this as well before he continued on with the show. “So Nate, how have you been doing?”
Nathan grinned and proceeded to get comfortable in his chair. “Well I’ve been great Jimmy quite honestly. In fact, I just got off from the gym this afternoon and I feel I am on the top of my game, my performance. Both mental and physical. So yeah, I am great!”
Jimmy nodded at this. “Then that is good to hear. You’ve been with the RWF for what? A month now? Tell us, how exactly is life in the RWF?”
“Well for starters, in RWF you cannot sit at one place and wait for the apple to fall on you if you know what I mean. You have to work for every single thing you want and thus it serves as your accomplishment in both as an individual and your career. It’s not a cake walk wherein you could just pop out there and boom you be champion and have all the benefits. You have to earn it.” Nathan replied with enthusiasm.
Jimmy smiled at this before a thought crossed his mind and expressed it in words. “You mentioned the championship. Could you tell us bit more about the champ when you fought him or is that still a sore topic for you?”
Nathan Harris gave Jimmy a mock glare before he smiled and showed that he was not offended. “Well… That guy is really something. I mean Alex was a tough customer in that squared ring and most of that can be attributed to his raw physical prowess and training. When I faced him, it was like facing a brick wall where everything you did, did nothing at all. It was one of those moment of enlightenment that you realize, it was not all fun and games anymore. It was at that point that you realize, you are in this business and reality decided to slap you on the face to tell you to man up and wake up.”
The audience clapped at this and a few cheers resounded. Soon a chant of “Nathan!” “Nathan!” “Nathan!” can be heard which brought a smile on Nathan Harris’ face.
“That is very deep Nate. But how would you rate your match with Alex The Great against you match with HardKore Comley? Or for that matter, against your match last week with Mimic and William Frost. That was a triple whatchamacallit match?”
Nathan Harris grinned at this and supplied the term for Jimmy Fellon. “Triple Threat Match Jim. And to answer your query, my match with HardKore Comley was my very first match and I gotta tell yah. That may be the scariest time in my life. That guy stood up to everything I did and even laughed when I put him in a submission hold. In the end, I won but was left knocked out in the ring.”
“For the triple threat match with both Mimic and William Frost, it was one heck of a roller-coaster ride. Here, there, we were everywhere in that ring. I even got double teamed by those two. Dunno if they were really working together or if it was a spur-of-the-moment thing but when I was matching the vids of that match, I couldn’t help but laugh at some parts while cringing at others. Especially when I got the double super kick from both Mimic and William.”
Nathan then relaxed on his chair once more and grinned at Jimmy Fellon. “All in all. I would say that it was both a great experience, even the one with Comley, and it has helped me to establish my presence in the RWF.”
“Indeed you have Nathan. You are something of a fan-favorite.” Jimmy commented much to the cheers of the audiences.
Nathan smiled at this and replied. “Well, I owe it all to the fans. Without them, there won’t be Nathan Harris. So thank you guys!” he finished as he stood up and pointed at the audience with Jimmy behind.
Cheers and applause resounded again in the studio at this. Chants of Nathan Harris’ name once again echoed all throughout the place. Nathan then waved at the people and once more settled down in his chair
“So what is next for you Nathan? Are you gunning for the title?” Jimmy queried.
Nathan paused this before he spoke. “Well Jimmy, actually, since I won the triple threat match, I was named number one contender for the RWF Television Title whose current holder is someone who has been in this business for a while. He might even be considered legendary. And that man is Xavier Serikaz, current RWF Television Champion.”
“Now that is interesting yes? So Nathan, what are your thoughts with your match against this Xavier character?”
Nathan Harris’ facial expression became contemplative at this. “Well, that guy definitely deserves to be champion for one thing. He has both the experience and the cunning to use things to his advantage. But then again, I am at the top of my game as well. I feel good…”
Nathan Harris then turned away from Jimmy Fellon with comedic facial expression while Jimmy looked on expectantly. “…Look good!”
The audience laughed at this while Jimmy chuckled. Nathan turned back at his host and grinned. “Seriously though, I think I look better than him, Xavier I mean. But that is beyond the point. The point of the matter is. This Sunday night, the second Pay-Per-View of Real Wrestling Federation, Insurrection! Will be a night to remember. So, at the comfort of your home, sit back and relax for it will be a night to you’ll never soon forget!”
“Nathan Harris versus Xavier Seri-whatchamacallit, dang that name is a tongue twister! For the RWF Television Title. To you Xavier, I would suggest you indeed bring your A-game. Coz when that bell rings, it would only be you and me. Come at me with everything you’ve got cause if you see me in that ring half-assed, I’ll make sure yo ass is grass!” Nathan Harris finished with that mischievous grin of his and eyes that are alit with unwavering determination.
Jimmy Fellon clapped at this. “Ladies and gentlemen! Nathan Harris!”
And the studio once again erupted with applause and cheers.
