*The backstage interviewer is waiting patiently for Chris to appear* *Chris enters the picture and comes off as cocky and confident, the interviewer notices it instantly*
Interviewer: Chris, first I'd like to start with a congratulations on signing a deal here at RWF and wish you all the best in your debut. Now, tonight is your debut for RWF and it's the first match of the night, what are your thoughts and do you believe you have a bright future in this company?
Chris: Tonight is my debut indeed and thank you for your gratitude, I am confident and excited about it, I've been in training for 5 years for this moment and I really hope I can make a good first impression on the other wrestlers and the board. Do I have a bright future in the company you ask? I'd like to think so, I've been waiting for years for this moment and I'm not about to throw it away, I'll make the most of it and try to give off a good first impression.
Interviewer: Well I'm sure you'll make a great first impression (As he says sarcastically whilst noticing his cockiness). Do you see yourself as a future champion and/or face of the company in 5-10 years or will you possibly be working backstage segments aswell?
Chris: Do I see myself as a future champion in this company? It's far to early to tell, obviously I'd love to be the face of the company but with all the competition there is going to be I don't see it happening to soon. The best way for me is to show the RWF I am serious about what I do and I will be willing to hold the RWF Championship for the time I need until the time comes to pass on the torch. After I pass on the torch I might consider doing some backstage work to keep on working with RWF.
Interviewer: With the success and glory of being a wrestler comes a great responsibility e.g. Being a great role model and going about your work professionally, how serious are you about professionalism and being a role model to all your fans?
Chris: I am very serious about being a great example for our fans, especially the younger generation. Being cocky is who I am and I'm aware of how cocky I can be, however being cocky can also get you into alot of trouble and that is the wrong way to be a great example. I won't let my cockiness get in the way of my professionalism.
Interviewer: And now one last question before your debut match, what title are you going to challenge for first and why?
Chris: At the moment I aim to work up from the Intercontinental Championship, to possibly forming a tag team to hold the Tag Team Championship and then finally to the RWF Championship (as he says RWF Championship he has a smile and looks off into the distance), but with all that comes a great amount of work and it won't be easy. I've come here to work hard and earn respect aswell, once I earn the respect of the roster, the board and the fans I'll then start going for championships.
Interviewer: Fair answer and well said. There you have it ladies and gentleman, Chris's first interview ever and although he may come across as an over-confident wrestler he is here to earn your respect. Thanks for your time Chris, all the best for you debut match and the rest of your time with the RWF.
*Chris shakes hands with the interviewer and thanks him for the interview before walking off with a huge smile on his face*
